Another successful Aikido demonstration at the Allanton World Peace Festival.

The Allanton World Peace Festival Sanctuary is the European sanctuary of the World Peace Prayer Society, an international organisation with NGO status, supporting the United Nations mission for realising world peace. The Society’s Headquarters are in New York, and there are offices in San Francisco, Munich and Tokyo.

Sunday 28th June 2009  saw the third South of Scotland Friendship day.

Amongst those who attended were guest instructors from Italy Sensei Sonoko and her husband Sensei Guerrino, who are 5th and 6th Dans respectively.

Big congratulations to Saraphir and Erwin on their successful gradings this weekend. The gradings took place at the Kilmarnock weekend course hosted by Ki Shin Tai Aikido Kan Club in Kilmarnock. The course was taken by Sensei Frank Burlingham 5th Dan from the Broadland Aikido Club in Lowestoft.

 

They both did fantastically and well and are now 6th Kyu.

 

Well done to both of you and well deserved. 

Big Congratulations to Giles who gained his 3^rd Kyu at the White Oak Weekend Course that took place in Reading. The course was very well attended and taken by Sensei Foster.
